We work very hard behind the scenes to ensure our website is always available to you, and that you experience no delays, but we cannot promise that the website will always be available. We may stop the operation of part of the website or all of it, at any time and without telling you. We make every endeavour to ensure the content on the website is accurate, but we do not guarantee this. The content is also general in nature and does not constitute advice in any way.

The creative and content of this website is all subject to copyright. While we are happy for you to share aspects on social media, you must not copy, adapt, store, transmit, print, display, perform, publish or create derivative works from any part of this website; or commercialise any information, products or services on this website. If you wish to do any of these things, you must get our written permission first.

Email Communication
When you accept these terms or use we will automatically subscribe your email address to the Pleasant State newsletter. The purpose of our newsletter is to share updates, products, promotions, and partnerships. You can unsubscribe from this at any time by clicking on unsubscribe in one of our emails.

Mobile Message Service Terms and Conditions

By consenting to Pleasant State's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages with service-related promotional messages, including: promotions, specials, and other marketing offers from and on behalf of Pleasant State via text messages through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology.

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Pleasant State. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless provider. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Click the unsubscribe link in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Pleasant State mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms. We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honouring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

These terms of use are governed by Queensland law and if there’s a dispute concerning these terms of use, the courts in Queensland will determine the outcome.

Charitable Donations
Two per cent of all sales are donated to our charitable partners. We reserve the right to change these charitable partners at any time. As these donations are made on a regular basis, the charitable component of your sale is non-refundable. Shipping is excluded when calculating the charitable portion of your sale.

Returns and Refunds
We're super confident that you'll love your Pleasant State goodies which is why we have a 30-day money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods. If in the unlikely event you're dissatisfied please email us at hello@pleasantstate.com within the 30 days so that we can help resolve any issues and/or organise the return logistics.We recommend that you return the product (yes, they will need to be returned) via Registered Post and that you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit and therefore we recommend you insure your parcel. Pleasant State will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

Changes To Our Online Store and Prices

Prices for our products and services are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be shown during the checkout process prior to finalising your order.  We may at any time modify or discontinue our Online Store (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of our Online Store. There is an important exception to this! For purchases of any of our ‘subscription’ products, we will of course notify you of any changes in price or operation of the service and will not charge your credit card for more than the amount originally agreed without your express consent.
Subscriptions may be cancelled or modified at any time by notifying us in writing at hello@pleasantstate.com. Subscriptions will re-bill at the agreed price and frequency until cancelled.

Account Information & Payment 
If you create an account with us, you agree that you are responsible for keeping your password secure. We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain the security of your account and password.  Whether you purchase our products from time to time on a one-off basis or subscribe to a regular delivery of our Pleasant State goodies, you agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information (and update that information ASAP if it changes) for all purchases. You must ensure that all information provided to us for the purpose of processing payments is correct and you are authorised to utilise the given payment method. You acknowledge that we are entitled to verify the authenticity of the payment information you provide (please note this not only protects us but protects you too!). Unfortunately, if you do not provide us with accurate and up-to-date information, we may not be able to fulfil your order, contact you and may suspend or terminate your account.
